8/15/10-1/23/11 - Misc. - 200 hrs

I haven't been too good at updating this construction log lately, but here's a quick retrospective of what I've been up to since August.

First, I finished riveting the aft fuselage. There wasn't much to take pictures of during this process.

Next, I painted the interior and the inside of the cabin top. It is tough for me to take pictures while painting for obvious reasons.

I bonded the aft windows into the cabin top. I haven't cleaned up the joints yet.

I hooked up the aft air vents and the compass module for the AFS4500.

The electrical system is progressing.

I installed the forward fuselage.

I also installed the instrument panel.

Here is my cool start switch. It is wired to the VP200 and it will light up when it is active.

I installed the cabin heat cables.

Here you can see the center section of the Aerosport Products instrument panel. I have installed the VP200 display in this area.

Firewall: I have wired the sensors to the engine.

Here are the cables for the heat controls.

I made a bracket to hold the Garmin GPS antenna.

The ground strap to the engine is installed.

This is a dark picture, but it shows the overhead console with the vents and the lights.

Oh, and here is where I installed the flap sensor. It will eventually be enclosed by the wing gap fairing.

So that's where I'm at.
